This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners. The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or adjust your home map, or change the room's label. If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed it can be accomplished easily. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, however it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules. 3. Narwal Freo X Ultra The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price cost. However, if you're looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot there are many other options available with a wide range of eufy models that cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets. 4. Eufy RoboVac G30 eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock close to an outlet for power and plenty of room for it to move around, however. The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands. The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its competitors.
